Discouragement is a Choice!

The Bible gives us guidelines about Management and Leadership, something we often take for granted. What more do we want than a trailed and tested manual, proven to work, even centuries ago… I hope that this message will encourage and inspire Business Leaders and Managers to lead their team through phases of discouragement into achieving their goals. Discouragement is a choice!

Causes of Discouragement:

1. Occurs right in the middle of a process/project where the end is nowhere in sight

2. When the process/project is more complicated than anticipated

3. Doubt sets in about one’s abilities and skills

4. When opposition grows stronger

How should you overcome Discouragement?

This makes me think about the “PDCA Cycle”, Plan, Do, Check, Act

1. Reorganise what is not working

2. Refocus on God

3. Resist discouragement
